Come join us in our annual survey for harvest mouse nests near Årungen. Harvest mice make expertly engineered and distinctive grass ball nests, which are relatively easy to find in autumn. We will start at the row stadium and walk slowly south toward Kinnåsen, checking the tall grass along the lake edge. This can take 1-2 hours, so we will round off with lunch at Kinnåsen gapahuk when we are done, and then walk back to the row stadium along the road.

Meeting at Årungen row stadium parking at 10:00 on Sunday, Nov 15th.

Participants should bring:

-Weather appropriate clothes and footwear that can be used for walking through tall, wet grass. Gloves and thick socks highly recommended!

-Water, food, snacks, warm beverage

-A change of clothes / a dry layer for after is also probably wise. We may be quite wet.
